Future Kids "should' be like . . . . ?
4 Benefits of HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) for Students:
1. More employable
2. More enjoyable life because they are more creative & self-actualized.
3. They have a higher self-esteem because they are more successful.
4. They have greater potential to make a positive difference in the world.

Environmental Inventories
These students determined the best way to evaluate a stand of trees for age and determined to core a select few trees of various sizes in various locations on Kelly Butte. The entire class was trying to answer the question "Is this a suitable environment for for flying squirrels and should we expect to find them here?" Other groups were looking for factors such as the presences michorizae, course woody debris, and truffles.
